Forefront: Leading the Way in Accessibility with Blind Ambition

At Blind Ambition, we are proud to partner with Forefront, a company that is setting the standard for inclusivity in the street works sector. Together, we are working to ensure that roadworks and construction sites are accessible and navigable for everyone, including visually impaired individuals.

Forefront has taken a proactive approach to accessibility by implementing our Street Works Accessibility Champions training program. This initiative provides their team members with the knowledge and tools they need to create safe and inclusive environments for all. From understanding the specific challenges faced by visually impaired people to ensuring clear signage and providing hands-on assistance, Forefront is making accessibility a priority in their operations.

One inspiring example of this partnership in action comes from Dave Randall, a Forefront team member who recently demonstrated the true spirit of inclusivity. When a visually impaired lady encountered road works that had relocated her usual bus stop, Dave stepped up to guide her safely through the work site and ensure she reached her new bus stop. This thoughtful act exemplifies the training and ethos that Forefront has embraced.

At Blind Ambition, we’re thrilled to see the positive impact of our collaboration. By working with companies like Forefront, we can drive meaningful change and create a society where accessibility is the norm, not the exception. Forefront’s commitment to inclusivity shows how businesses can make a real difference, not just for their clients but for the entire community.

We look forward to continuing our work with Forefront and empowering more organizations to follow their lead. Together, we’re proving that accessibility and inclusivity are not just aspirations but achievable realities.
