At Blind Ambition, we’re proud to launch one of our most impactful initiatives to date — the VIP Card. This discount card has been created specifically for blind and partially sighted people, to help ease the everyday financial pressures that come with living with sight loss.

Why the VIP Card Matters

According to Scope’s Family Resources Survey, life costs an average of £1,095 more per month if you are disabled. This is what’s often called the ‘Disability Price Tag’ — and it’s very real. From specialist equipment to accessible transport and navigating inaccessible services, the additional financial burden is constant.

For blind and partially sighted people, this makes independence harder to achieve and opportunities more difficult to access.

The VIP Card is designed to help tackle that.
