Training & Support for Disabled People

At BlindAmbition we’re committed to helping as many people as possible with sight loss to enter employment or move to the next stage of their career. This could be finding a first or a new role, starting an apprenticeship or starting up a new business.

We have put together a range of services both face to face and online to provide skills training and networking opportunities for people who are blind or partially sighted.

As a disabled-led organisation we work hard to make our events and training as accessible and inclusive as possible. We routinely caption all webinars and can provide transcripts on request. We can also provide selected course material where appropriate ahead of the event to allow delegates to familiarise themselves with content.

For all other questions about adjustments and accommodations at our events please email us at events@blindambition.co.uk or call us on 0203 886 2020.

“Disabled people are very entrepreneurial because every day they are faced with challenges - things which they shouldn’t be able to do and must constantly ask themselves, how am I going to do this? That mindset is the same as an entrepreneur who sees a problem and must find a way to solve it. Disabled people have so much to offer the community, I want to make sure their contribution is not lost.” Seema Flower
